National Foundation for Transplants is a nonprofit organization working with volunteers to help transplant recipients pay the myriad of expenses they incur. NFT also provides outreach to register new organ donors and helps provide lodging to transplant patients when they must travel to receive transplants and aftercare.

They require expensive aftercare and anti-rejection medications for the rest of their lives. Transplant medications alone can cost $3000 to $4000 per month.

Since 1983, National Foundation for Transplants has been helping patients overcome financial obstacles that may prevent or delay their lifesaving transplants. The organization is dedicated to ensuring that transplant patients are not turned away from their critically needed treatment because they cannot afford it.
