South Bayfront Sailing Association's all volunteer staff and crew are dedicated to fostering the love of the sea and maritime. Our programs focus on youth development, environmental sustainability, maritime history and maritime careers through powerful shipboard programs aboard the historic tall ship Bill of Rights on the waters of San Diego Bay and small boat sailing and handling.

Our programs include seamanship and history aboard the tall ship BILL OF RIGHTS, a 136’ traditional 2-masted schooner. Small boat sailing using our fleet of Hobie Waves. Learning skills of the mariner via our boat building program; building a Cosine Wherry. An numerous seamanship classes and events.
